NEXUS, in partnership with Playwith Korea, announced that pre-registration for the upcoming MMORPG Rohan 2 Global will begin on September 5 at 11:00 KST.
Based on the classic Rohan Online IP, Rohan 2 Global introduces multiple playable races—including Humans, Elves, and Half-Elves—along with large-scale field boss battles, dynamic combat systems, and other core MMORPG features.
While preserving the original game’s lore and combat mechanics, the new title integrates blockchain technology to expand ownership of in-game assets—such as characters and items—at the account level. This enables broader opportunities for asset trading and utilization.
A central feature is ROHANomics, a blockchain-based game economy integrated with CROSS’s on-chain environment. Designed specifically for MMORPG gameplay, ROHANomics provides players with a transparent and sustainable economic system.
Following the pre-registration phase, early access sales for RUBY, the game’s main in-game currency, will open on September 15. RUBY has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion units to preserve value, and resales in the in-game shop will be limited to amounts consumed by players. RUBY can be used in gameplay or converted into tokens for trading on the CROSSx app.
Special launch events will also be available, including a Pre-Registration Milestone Event, where rewards are unlocked as participant numbers grow, and Lucky Hit, which offers additional CROSS tokens ($CROSS).
