Pearl Abyss announced today (September 8) that it will participate in Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025), taking place in Japan from September 25 to 28.
Since its media demo debut in the Benelux region this March, Crimson Desert has been showcased at major global events, including the London media demo, TwitchCon Rotterdam, Gamescom, the Game Developers Conference (GDC), Summer Game Fest (SGF), PAX East/West, as well as Brazil and China’s Bilibili World and ChinaJoy. These appearances have drawn strong interest from gamers worldwide and heightened anticipation for its release.
This marks the first time Crimson Desert will be available for hands-on play in Japan. Pearl Abyss, in collaboration with partners AMD, Razer, and BenQ, will set up over 100 demo stations. Players will be able to experience large-scale battles in the game’s open world as well as early-to-mid story quests.
The highlight of the demo is its massive battlefield, designed to feel like a living warfront. Exploding cannon fire overhead, the clash of weapons, soldiers’ shouts, and landscapes shrouded in smoke and flames all recreate the intensity of a real battle. Real-time skirmishes unfolding across the field further amplify the sense of immersion and tension.
Beyond combat, the expansive continent of Pywel offers another layer of exploration. Dynamic lighting, weather changes, and vast natural environments such as mountain ranges and cliffs enhance the visual impact. All of these details are powered by Pearl Abyss’s proprietary BlackSpace Engine, delivering high-fidelity visuals that bring the world of Crimson Desert vividly to life.
